Andrews somehow conjured warmth and charisma inside a cut-glass spirit. Blunt comes near to playing someone with a big chip on her shoulder.
The mid-film animated sequences demonstrate some technical savvy, but otherwise this felt like a fairly redundant and charm-starved retread.
