Director: Hany Abu-Assad. Cast: Adam Bakri, Iyad Hoorani, Samer Bisharat, Leem Lubany, Waleed Zuaiter, Ramzi Maqdisi, Rohl Ayadi, Jehad Abu Assal, Wafaa Aon, Anna Maria Hawa, Ziad Jarjoura, Essam Abu Aabed, Doraid Liddawi, Yousef Sweid, Yael Lerer, Tarik Kopty. Screenplay: Hany Abu-Assad.

Twitter Capsule: Coolly escalating melodrama privileges plot over style, but at least it thickens. Exciting chase, too. Gutsy and accomplished.

VOR:   Abu-Assad hasn't knocked my socks off yet but also never fails to interest me. Omar holds the personal and political in tense, unusual balance compared to other films from this region.
